Tree Planting Projects in Germany

Our symbol is a tree. At Timberland, we enjoy being in the outdoors and preserving nature.

Over one million planted trees all over the world and more than 18,000 trees planted in Germany are the visible sign of our strong belief in commerce and justice. Timberland has been partnered with Bergwaldprojekt since 2006 to conserve and preserve the local forests.

In buying an Earthkeepers™ product in Germany, you make an active contribution to environmental protection. With your tree you support the building and preserving of stable mixed forests in Forstenrieder Park close to Munich (Bavaria) in November (N 48°04`27.60“E11°29`15.68“).

Bergwaldprojekts non-profit aim is to conserve and preserve forests, especially alpine forests and cultural landscape. It wants to draw attention to the forest‘s problems and to establish an understanding for the natural background as well as for forest procurements, working towards an improvement of the basic environmental conditions.

To this day we have planted over 18,250 trees in German forests together with Bergwaldprojekt. Together we have already built one nature experience trail in Bad Kohlgrub (Bavaria) with Bergwaldprojekt and are currently working on the second trail in Munich/Neuried (Bavaria). The next project is to build and preserve stable mixed forests in Forstenrieder Park close to Munich in November.

We plan to continue working with Bergwaldprojekt. For more information on Bergwaldprojekt go to www.bergwaldprojekt.de. Read more about Timberland’s  responsibility efforts and our Earthkeepers™ products on this website.
